Particulate matter alert!

A few weeks ago on twitter, our friends from 57North Hacklab put is touch with people who were interested in buidling a DIY air quality monitoring system. We were pointed to the great work being done by luftdaten project.

Luftdaten is a citizen science project to collect data of particular matter from homemade monitoring units. All the data is open and available to all to use and used to gain insights into the effect our on environment. They provide a parts list, step by step guide and all the code needed to build your very own sensor to contribute to environmental monitoring in your locality.

So got stuck in making one to get Ireland started on the map.

Dublin Maker 2019 – Open Call

We are super proud to be supporting Dublin Maker this year and announcing there open call.

Dublin Maker are looking for makers, tinkerers, artists, inventors, hackers and do-it-yourselfers.
The event gives an opportunity to showcase projects, prototypes, inventions and run workshops at Dublin Maker on the 20th of July in Merrion Square to 10,000 people .

St Patricks Festival – Festival Village

Over the course of the bank holiday weekend, Merrion Square will be transformed into a bustling Festival Village, with three days of fantastic events, fun adventures and glorious food.

We will be there on Monday 18th March from 12pm till 6pm in the Science Foundation Ireland Science Zone.

We will be entertaining visitors with our mix of projects, demos and all-round fun.

Raspberry Jam Big Birthday Event

The Dublin Raspberry Pi Jam team are hosting their 3rd jam and this time Raspberry Pi will also be turning seven years old. There will be a weekend of Pi Jams taking place all over the world.

We are happy to play host to the growing Dublin Raspberry community. This jam will focus more on bringing your own equipment and working on projects. They want to emphasise that it is not a workshop, it’s an event where you feel free to ask questions and for help as well as share your own project and ideas to one another.
