Workshop Description:
During this workshop you will assemble your own Red/Green 8×8 Dot Matrix Display.
Starting with a quick introduction into how the display operates and leading on to an overview of how to convert a circuit into a physical device. You will then use strip board construction techniques to assemble the display.
Only basic soldering skills are required and as a larger project it forms a excellent opportunity to practice and perfect your soldering skills.
The circuit and software are designed to work with an Arduino or compatible device. Although other development boards should also be able to work with the display.
